Job Position: Credit Review Officer

Job Location: Lagos (Remote)

Job Responsibilities

  1. Loan modification at the Credit Regional Manager Level
  2. Liaising with Portfolio Managers to follow up on Loan Request
  3. Assessing the creditworthiness of Businesses or BRM applying for Credit
  4. Analyzing Financial data, Credit reports, Registration with Corporate Affairs and any other information to make informed decisions.
  5. Identifying potential Risks and recommending ways to mitigate them
  6. Reviewing Existing Credit accounts to ensure Compliance with terms
  7. Conducting background checks and verifying information provided in credit application
  8. Communicating Credit decisions to the Portfolio Manager to follow up on
  9. Create Loan Agreements for Large Loans through the Legal team
  10. Providing recommendations for Credit Approval or Rejection
  11. Perform all other functions as may be assigned by a supervisor

Job Requirements

  1. A minimum of 2 years experience in a sales role for credit products in a financial institution
  2. Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis
  3. A good knowledge of financial analysis is an added advantage
  4. Outstanding verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.
  5. An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
