Job Position: Customer Engagement Officer (Palmgrove and its environs)

Job Location: Palmgrove, Lagos

Job Description

  1. Receive and attend to e-mails, telephone, social media from customers for all inquiries on complaints, enquiries, products and services etc.
  2. Actively market all products in the company portfolio.
  3. Ensure active & customer engagement to identify issues.
  4. Sustain and document knowledge on all customer requirements and provide immediate appropriate solutions.
  5. Record enquiries, complaints, comments etc. for resolution and audit purposes
  6. Route customer requests and complaints to other departments to treat, where necessary.
  7. Prioritize and oversee all customer tasks that are achieved/met all deadlines within the required timeframe (FOLLOW UP).
  8. To be clear and polite to customers at all times, accurately evaluating the nature of their enquiry and determining the appropriate action to take, ensuring that information and advice given is factually correct.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in a reputable University or Polytechnic
  2. Problem-Solving skills with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  3. Consistently exercise empathy
  4. Have a strong product sense
  5. Communicate ideas clearly across teams
  6. Be comfortable learning about companies with complex, technical products
  7. Enjoy thinking about how to automate as much of your job as possible
  8. Strong attention to detail, result-oriented and creative skills.
  9. Be creative while working within difficult constraints.
