GTI Microfinance Limited was incorporated in August 2007 as a limited liability company and started its operations in 2008 at No. 127 Obafemi Awolowo Road, Ikeja. In October 2013, it was licensed as a State Wide Microfinance Bank and moved its Head Office to No. 4 Tinubu Street, Central Business District, Marina Lagos. Other branches are located at Mushin, Abattoir in Agege, Surulere, and Arena.

Job Position: Customer Service Officer

Job Location: Marina, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Prompt handling of customers’ enquiries on accounts and other requests.
  2. Timely and controlled processing of cash, funds transfer and account opening requests and in line with policies and agreed Turn-Around-Time (TAT).
  3. Prompt handling of customers’ account maintenance requests and in line with policy.
  4. Prompt processing of clearing cheques through the Correspondent Banks.
  5. Ensure customers’ transactions are processed in line with accounts’ mandates (including signature verification).
  6. Confirmation of withdrawal instructions or instruments and ensuring customers’ accounts are sufficiently funded before posting.
  7. Proper tracking, recording and timely processing of cash collections by Loan Officers across the bank.
  8. Timely application of inflows from correspondent banks’ accounts to customers’ accounts.
  9. Drive customers adoption towards direct payment into their accounts with GTI Microfinance Bank.
  10. Ensure first level transaction call-over on daily transactions to promptly address identified gaps.
  11. Prompt and effective reconciliation at end-of-day and sign-off on transaction registers.
  12. Reconciliation of physical cash balances to system positions.
  13. Ensure cash holding in till/premises is within the approved insured limit.
  14. Participation in testing of banking application and other automated platforms as they concern Operations.
  15. Perform other function as may be assigned by the Head of Operations.
  16. Prompt handling of customers’ enquiries on accounts and other requests.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 1 – 3 years relevant work experience.
