Job Position: Customer Service Representative

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

  • We are currently seeking the services of a client service personnel that will oversee rendering general administrative support to clients and ensuring the delivery of outstanding customer service.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Organize and maintain personnel records
  2. Update internal databases
  3. Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides
  4. Revise company policies
  5. Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance
  6. Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates)
  7. Answer employees’ queries about HR-related issues
  8. Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information
  9. Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms
  10. Participate in HR projects (e.g., help organize a job fair event).
  11. Greet guests and provide them with superb customer service.
  12. Ensure the front desk is neat, presentable, and equipped with all the necessary supplies such as pens, forms, and paper.
  13. Answer all client questions and incoming calls.
  14. Redirect phone calls to the appropriate department and take down messages.
  15. Accept all letters and packages and distribute them to their appropriate departments.
  16. Monitor, organize, and forward emails.
  17. Book meetings for the MD or as advised
  18. Track and order office equipment and supplies.
  19. Maintain records and files.
  20. Oversee the office budget.
  21. Supervise office ambiance and hygiene

Job Requirements

  • HND / B.Sc in a relevant field
  • 1-3 years of work experience
  • Proven work experience as a Customer Service Representative, Administrative Assistant, or relevant role
  • Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
  • Strong phone, email, and in-person communication skills
  • Good understanding of office administration and basic bookkeeping practices.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office programs.
