Job Position: Customer Support Specialist

Job Location: Ilupeju, Lagos

Job Description

  1. The Customer Support Specialist will act as a liaison, provide product/service information, answer questions, and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency.
  2. The best CSRs are genuinely excited to help customers. They’re patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative.
  3. They love to talk and understand the value of good communication skills.
  4. Customer service representatives can put themselves in their customers’ shoes and advocate for them when necessary. Problem-solving also comes naturally to customer care specialists.
  5. They are confident at troubleshooting and investigating if they don’t have enough information to answer customer questions or resolve complaints.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Answering questions about product details, the company, and issues with accounts for the customers.
  2. Assisting customers with technical issues experienced on the app or website and escalating any issue(s) to the appropriate unit.
  3. Receiving Inbound calls and resolving queries via emails, CRM, and all available platforms/channels.
  4. Making Outbound follow-up calls to sales leads and persuading potential customers to complete and submit their application
  5. Responsible for the overall management of all strategic and operational customer onboarding and relationship activities.
  6. Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, and prospect needs and generate product development ideas.
  7. Take ownership of the management of the Telesales and Customer Experience function of the business.
  8. Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company’s ambitious growth.
  9. Working to stringent targets, the job holder must adopt a professional and knowledgeable approach to each new business call.

Job Requirements

  • 1 – 2 years of working experience in a similar role with a startup, finance,  investment banking, or private equity firm
  • Proven track record of personal, academic, and professional achievements
  • Ability to work in an independent, structured, and goal-oriented manner
  • Ability to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while multitasking is of utmost importance
  • Ability to prioritize deliverables and meet demanding deadlines
  • Fluency in English.
