Job Position: Data Analyst

Job Descriptions

  1. We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support our data team in generating insights that drive business growth and improve customer outcomes.
  2. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  3. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyse customer behaviour, investment trends, and operational performance, providing actionable recommendations to enhance our products and services.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to customer savings and investment behaviour.
  2. Develop dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
  3. Provide actionable recommendations to improve customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
  4. Present findings to stakeholders clearly and concisely, tailored to their level of technical expertise.
  5. Work closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to understand their data needs and deliver insights that support decision-making.
  6. Build statistical models to forecast customer behaviour, investment trends, and business outcomes.
  7. Use advanced analytics techniques to provide prescriptive recommendations for business optimisation.
  8. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all analyses.
  9. Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance policies.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
  2. 3 – 4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the fintech, banking, or investment industry.
  3. Proven track record of working with large datasets and generating actionable insights.
  4. Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  5. Experience with data visualisation tools like Power BI, Metabase, Looker or Tableau.
  6. Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud) is a plus.
  7. Strong knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and modelling.
  8. Familiarity with statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
  9. Strong communication and storytelling skills to present insights effectively.
  10. Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

Salary
N750,000 – N900,000 per month.
