Job Description

  1. As a key member of the Strategic Growth Team, the Data Analyst within the Primegauge Solutions framework plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of assigned projects.
  2. The primary responsibilities revolve around leveraging analytical expertise to understand and enhance various business processes.
  3. Collaborating closely with multiple departments and working groups, the Data Analyst is instrumental in problem-solving and implementing process changes aimed at optimizing team performance.
  4. Utilizing a high level of qualitative aptitude, the Data Analyst is tasked with collecting, cleaning, interpreting, analysing and reporting data within diverse project environments.
  5. The role involves facilitating the definition of business requirements and effectively communicating them to stakeholders.
  6. Additionally, the Data Analyst is responsible for developing reporting tools and conducting training sessions for staff and stakeholders on newly established policies and procedures.
  7. A successful candidate for this role must possess strong analytical skills, demonstrating an ability to analyze solutions and systems to enhance overall performance, reliability, and efficiency.
  8. The focus extends to improving data-driven decision-making processes and contributing to the strategic growth objectives of the organization through informed and data-driven insights.

Job Responsibilities
In addition to the above, the analyst will help create internal OKRs and SLAs that hold our teams to ambitious performance standards. Other responsibilities would include:

  1. Gather data from different sources, including databases, spreadsheets, surveys, and external APIs.
  2. Clean and preprocess raw data to ensure accuracy and consistency, handling missing or incomplete information.
  3. Utilize statistical and analytical techniques to interpret data, identify trends, and extract meaningful insights.
  4. Create clear and effective data visualizations, such as charts and graphs, to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  5. Generate regular reports summarizing key performance indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics.
  6. Conduct exploratory data analysis to discover patterns, relationships, and anomalies within the data.
  7. Develop and apply predictive models to forecast trends and outcomes based on historical data.
  8. Design and execute hypothesis tests to validate assumptions and make data-driven recommendations.
  9. Write SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data from databases, ensuring data integrity.
  10. Work closely with business stakeholders, such as managers and executives, to understand their data needs and provide insights that support decision-making.
  11. Monitor and track data quality, ensuring that data used for analysis is accurate and up-to-date.
  12. Conduct quality assurance checks to verify the accuracy and reliability of analytical results.
  13. Document data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  14. Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Data Analysis
  • A degree in IT / Computer Science or any related discipline
  • Proven experience working with Power BI
  • Working knowledge of Excel
  • Solid experience in writing SQL queries
  • Basic knowledge in generating process documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
