Seven-Up Bottling Company Limited is one of the largest manufacturing companies in Nigeria, producing and distributing some of the nation’s most-loved beverages in the country, like; Pepsi, 7Up, Mirinda, Teem, Mountain Dew, H2O!, Lipton Ice Tea and Aquafina premium drinking water. SBC has recently entered into the Home & Personal Care category with the 2SURE brand and launched its first product, a Hand & Surface Sanitiser. Seven Up boasts nine bottling plants with state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities strategically located across various regions in the country.

Job Position: Data Analyst
Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Collect data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, surveys, and external datasets.
  2. Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency, addressing missing values and outliers.
  3. Analyse data using statistical and analytical techniques to identify patterns and draw meaningful insights.
  4. Create charts, graphs, and visual representations of data to effectively communicate findings and trends.
  5. Build predictive models and conduct regression analysis to forecast trends or outcomes.
  6. Provide context and actionable recommendations based on data analysis and interpretation.
  7. Write SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data from databases.
  8. Apply statistical methods to analyse data distributions, correlations, and significance.
  9. Ensure data accuracy and integrity through validation processes and quality checks.
  10. Extract valuable information from large datasets and identify hidden patterns or trends through data mining.
  11. Conduct statistical tests to validate hypotheses and draw conclusions through hypothesis testing.
  12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.

Job Requirements

  1. BSc Degree / HND
  2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience using Excel and Power BI
  3. FMCG Business Knowledge is an added advantage.
  4. Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate Certification
  5. Microsoft Office Specialist for Excel Certification
  6. Experience in using SS Analysis Services (SSAS) and SS Reporting Services (SSRS)
  7. Ability to carry out data and report quality assurance and consistency
  8. Experience using Python.
