Job Position: Data Analyst

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

  • In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to help drive informed decisions across various departments.
  • Your insights will play a critical role in shaping our strategy, improving customer experiences, and enhancing operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities
Data Collection & Management:

  • Gather and process data from various internal and external sources.
  • Maintain and update data sets to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with different departments to identify data needs and ensure the collection of relevant data points.

Data Analysis:

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can influence business decisions.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover hidden insights.
  • Use statistical methods to interpret data and generate actionable recommendations.

Reporting & Visualization:

  • Create and present comprehensive reports and visualizations that communicate data findings to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards that provide real-time insights into key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Translate complex data into understandable and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Data-driven Decision Making:

  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Support the development and optimization of business strategies by providing data-backed insights.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of campaigns, products, and operational processes using data.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  3. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or Excel.
  4. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data insights clearly to various stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the furniture, retail, or e-commerce industry.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
  • Familiarity with customer segmentation and predictive analytics.
