Job Position: Data Scientist
Location:  Fully Remote (Work from Anywhere)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Data Scientist to join our dynamic, fully remote team.

You will leverage data to uncover insights, build predictive models, and support data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design innovative solutions that solve complex business challenges.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from multiple sources.
  2. Develop and implement statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics.
  3. Visualise and communicate findings through dashboards, reports, and presentations.
  4. Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  5. Continuously monitor model performance and optimise algorithms for accuracy and efficiency.
  6. Stay updated with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in data science and AI.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience (4+ years) as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role.
  3. Proficiency in Python or R, and experience with SQL for data querying.
  4. Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  5. Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, seaborn).
  6. Solid understanding of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Salary
N500,000 Monthly.
