Job Position: Project / Design Engineer

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Description

  1. Oversee the audit, design, installation, and execution of solar power solutions.
  2. Serve as a central coordinator, liaising with internal and external teams for smooth project execution.
  3. Develop standard operating procedures and uphold quality and safety standards for solar installation work.
  4. Accurately assess energy consumption and cost profiles to optimize solar power solutions.
  5. Manage multiple projects concurrently at various development and construction stages.
  6. Design solar systems tailored to customer requirements, including mini-grids and rooftop installations.
  7. Translate solar, electrical, and civil designs from paper to reality in the field.
  8. Coordinate with internal and external teams for project execution.
  9. Handle drawing/document submissions, scheduling, inspections, and prepare checklists for review.
  10. Execute end-to-end solar projects (rooftop and ground-mounted) along with AMC/service support.
  11. Utilize portable energy audit instruments for assessments.
  12. Evaluate site feasibility and recommend suitable options.
  13. Conduct space assessments, select equipment, design layouts, and prepare schematic diagrams.
  14. Provide weekly/fortnightly status reports and dashboards.
  15. Offer technical direction and support to installation teams during start-up, testing, and commissioning.
  16. Troubleshoot installation-related issues.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in Helioscope, PVst, and Omar software design.

Salary
N300,000 – N500,000 / month.
