Job Description

  1. As a DevOps Engineer for our apps project, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our platform.
  2. You will work closely with the development team to streamline our software delivery pipeline, automate processes, and maintain a robust infrastructure that supports the delivery of healthcare services remotely.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Infrastructure Management: Maintain and scale the cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) that hosts our telehealth platform. Ensure high availability, security, and performance.
  2. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployment, ensuring rapid and reliable releases.
  3. Configuration Management: Implement configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, or Chef) to automate server provisioning and configuration.
  4. Containerization: Manage container orchestration using tools like Docker and Kubernetes, enabling efficient deployment and scaling of microservices.
  5. Monitoring and Logging: Set up monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, ELK stack) to proactively identify and address issues, ensuring platform stability.
  6. Security: Implement security best practices, conduct regular vulnerability assessments, and manage access control to protect sensitive healthcare data.
  7. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between development and operations, facilitating a DevOps culture.
  8. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure, configurations, and processes to enable efficient troubleshooting and knowledge sharing.
  9. Disaster Recovery: Develop and test disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss in case of system failures or emergencies.
  10. Performance Optimization: Continuously analyze system performance and optimize resource utilization to provide a seamless telehealth experience.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent previous work experience).
  2. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  3. Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  4. Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).
  5. Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  6. Expertise in configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).
  7. Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA).
  8. Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
  9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  10. Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
