Job Description
- As a DevOps Engineer for our apps project, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our platform.
- You will work closely with the development team to streamline our software delivery pipeline, automate processes, and maintain a robust infrastructure that supports the delivery of healthcare services remotely.
Job Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Management: Maintain and scale the cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) that hosts our telehealth platform. Ensure high availability, security, and performance.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployment, ensuring rapid and reliable releases.
- Configuration Management: Implement configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, or Chef) to automate server provisioning and configuration.
- Containerization: Manage container orchestration using tools like Docker and Kubernetes, enabling efficient deployment and scaling of microservices.
- Monitoring and Logging: Set up monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, ELK stack) to proactively identify and address issues, ensuring platform stability.
- Security: Implement security best practices, conduct regular vulnerability assessments, and manage access control to protect sensitive healthcare data.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between development and operations, facilitating a DevOps culture.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure, configurations, and processes to enable efficient troubleshooting and knowledge sharing.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and test disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss in case of system failures or emergencies.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously analyze system performance and optimize resource utilization to provide a seamless telehealth experience.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent previous work experience).
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Expertise in configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA).
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
