Job Position: DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

  1. The ideal candidate would be responsible for optimizing the software development and IT operations processes at PCSL.
  2. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless collaboration between development and operations teams, with a focus on enhancing efficiency, scalability, and security within the AWS cloud environment.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline the software development lifecycle.
  2. Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
  3. Ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability of AWS infrastructure.
  4. Implement automation solutions for provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
  5. Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolution to enhance system stability.
  6. Collaborate on infrastructure as code (IaC) initiatives.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  2. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification (preferred).
  3. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on AWS.
  4. Strong knowledge of AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
  5. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
  6. Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  7. Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
  8. Experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  9. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Salary

  • N14,000,000 – N16,000,000 Annually.
