Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to play a key role in our IT operations.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing our continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise our development processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance system reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor and analyse system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure security best practices are implemented throughout the development and deployment process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve development processes and efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our infrastructure.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Solid experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Ruby.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Understanding of version control systems (Git) and collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Kubernetes Certified Administrator are a plus.
