Job Description

  1. We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to play a key role in our IT operations.
  2. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing our continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise our development processes.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process.
  2. Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance system reliability, performance, and scalability.
  3. Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  4. Monitor and analyse system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance.
  5. Ensure security best practices are implemented throughout the development and deployment process.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve development processes and efficiency.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our infrastructure.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  2. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
  3. Solid experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  4. Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Ruby.
  5. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  6. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  7. Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  8. Understanding of version control systems (Git) and collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket).
  9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  10. Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Kubernetes Certified Administrator are a plus.
