Job Position: Digital Business Manager

Job Location: Onsite at Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Description

  1. As the Digital Business Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our online store operations, including website management, product listings, digital marketing, and team leadership.
  2. We are looking for a visionary leader with a strong business orientation and hands-on experience in digital commerce management.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute digital commerce strategies to drive traffic, increase conversions, and maximize online sales revenue.
  2. Manage all aspects of the online store, including product selection, pricing, inventory management, and customer experience optimization.
  3. Lead a team of digital marketers, product listing specialists, and customer service representatives, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure team success.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and IT, to align digital commerce initiatives with overall business objectives.
  5. Analyze website performance metrics, customer behavior data, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  6. Implement digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media advertising, to drive customer acquisition and retention.
  7. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in digital commerce, digital marketing, and online retail, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  8. Monitor and report on digital commerce KPIs, performance metrics, and budgetary goals to senior management.

Job Requirements

  1. HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required
  2. Minimum of 4 – 6 years of experience in digital commerce management, preferably in a retail or consumer goods industry.
  3. Proven track record of success in driving online sales growth and managing digital commerce operations.
  4. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and execute digital commerce strategies aligned with business goals.
  5. Experience managing digital marketing campaigns and working with digital marketing tools and platforms.
  6. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of professionals.
  7. Hands-on experience with digital commerce platforms, content management systems, and analytics tools.
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
