Ades was incorporated in 2004 and has been trading in the Royal Borough of Greenwich since then. Firstly as distributors of dried and smoked fish, and in 2006 the company expanded into selling catering supplies before opening the Cash & Carry in 2007. The company is managed by a dedicated team with extensive experience in the food industry and has maintained an excellent reputation in the industry over many years. Job Position: Digital Content Specialist

Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Responsibilities

  1. The Digital Content Specialist will be responsible for developing the voice for all aspects of the organisation online presence.
  2. In addition to writing all product descriptions, specifications, allergies etc., proof reading and editing all contents provided before posting by developers, the Digital Content Specialist will also be responsible for crafting site & banner promotions passed on to him/her by the project manager, email newsletters with the use of existing templates, and online outreach campaigns (social media).
  3. Overseeing the end-to-end process of content creation and dissemination across our blogs, websites, and social media channels.
  4. Executing dynamic digital content campaigns across our web platforms and social channels.
  5. Contributing actively to the planning and execution of impactful marketing initiatives.
  6. Collaborating closely with the Graphic Designer and illustrator to craft compelling visual contents.
  7. Tracking and analysing content performance across diverse digital platforms.
  8. Refining and enhancing content through meticulous editing, ensuring adherence to grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style guidelines.
  9. Crafting engaging content across multiple platforms such as blogs and social media, as needed.
  10. Maintaining strict adherence to optimal SEO practices and our company’s established style guidelines in all content
  11. Conducting comprehensive research on industry competitors, target audience, and relevant keywords to refine our digital marketing strategies

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in English, Technical Writing or a related field.
  2. Exceptional communication and organisational skills
  3. Basic knowledge of HTML and SEO
  4. Experience with content management system (Magento) is a plus.
  5. Experience in web or graphic design is a plus.
  6. Basic Adobe Photoshop and Mail Chimp skills
  7. Proven ability to work within a cross-departmental team

Key Competencies:

  1. Communication skills – verbal & written
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
