Job Position: Digital Marketer

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description

  1. The Digital Marketing Generalist should have a solid understanding of digital marketing principles, be well-versed in various digital marketing channels, and have experience in managing end-to-end digital marketing campaigns.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and carry out all digital marketing strategies, including email, social media, SEO/SEM, and display advertising campaigns.
  2. All digital marketing campaign performance should be measured, reported, and compared to objectives(ROI and KPIs).
  3. Create, establish, and sustaining our social media presence
  4. Analyze customer and user data.
  5. Discover trends and insights, then adjust spending and output depending on the knowledge.
  6. Assess the entire customer experience across all channels and customer touch points by using your strong analytical skills
  7. Devise and implement search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC) strategies.
  8. Create and manage link-building and content marketing strategies.
  9. Develop engaging online content including blog articles, videos, graphics, and ads
  10. Monitor and analyze content click-through rates.
  11. Forecast marketing campaign growth and return-on-investment (ROI) and report these to leadership.
  12. Manage and write copy for email and social media marketing campaigns, among others.
  13. Research advertising trends and competitors’ pricing and products
  14. Use Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and other relevant digital marketing tools
  15. Devise new ways of driving traffic to the company website/s.
  16. Stay abreast of new social media sites, web technologies, and digital marketing trends; implement these new technologies when developing campaigns, and update current campaigns
  17. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams, including designs, development, and sales to ensure cohesive brand Messaging and campaign execution.
  18. Stay up to date with the latest changes, online marketing trends, and best practices
  19. Keep marketing strategies up-to-date
  20. Monitor competition and provide suggestions for improvement
  21. Create content for posting on various digital Platform
  22. Manage and maintain our company’s social media profiles on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
  23. Do report analytics to provide insights, key performance indicators and recommendations for optimizing Marketing strategies
  24. Work with your team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies.

  27. Passionate and willingness to learn about company products and services
  28. Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
  29. Knowledge of Graphics, video, picture editing software would be an added advantage.

Job Requirements

  • SSCE, Diploma or Bachelors in Marketing, Communication or IT related Field
  • 2 years Proven experience in social Media management, preferably in a professional capacity
  • Ability to take a project, break it down into deliverables and due dates, assign responsibility to team members and follow through till the project is delivered on time
  • Proven SEO/SEM experience managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Bing.
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities to Manage multiple platforms and Campaigns Simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong Collaboration skill
  • Proficiency in using social media Management tools and analytics Platforms.
  • Creativity and ability to develop engaging content
  • Proven experience with website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Net Insight, Omniture, Web Trends, Google AdWords, Keyword Planner, Search Console).
  • Experience in generating and executing marketing ideas.
  • Understanding of our target audience and how to reach them.

Other Requirements:

  • 1-2 years proven work experience in online advertising and digital marketing
  • Experience in managing SEO/SEM and social media campaigns
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to come up with creative, high-converting ads
  • Proven track record of managing customer acquisition campaigns across multiple digital channels, including social media, email, display advertising, and paid search.
  • Firm grasp of emerging digital tools.
  • Understanding of web analytics.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Salary
N50,000 – N70,000 / month.
