Job Description

  1. As the Digital Marketing Manager, we are entrusting our online image to you. You will help us shape the kind of stories we tell online and how we are perceived by digital audiences and how we can convert positive attention towards meeting our goals for the church.
  2. You will have the opportunity to imagine new ways to connect with our potential audiences in online spaces through integrated digital marketing campaigns.
  3. You will conceptualize and execute new and innovative ideas that share our values to a wide audience and inspire them to take action and report to Head of marketing and communication.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Planning digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising
  2. Maintaining our social media presence across all digital channels.
  3. Measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns.
  4. You will work with the marketing team, supporting teams and vendors to launch campaigns on time and on budget
  5. Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
  6. Design, build and maintain our social media presence
  7. Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  8. Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  9. Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  10. Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  11. Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
  12. Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  13. Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels
  14. Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
  15. Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
  16. Carrying out research, strategizing with other managers and creating content for successful campaigns.

Job Requirements

  1. HND / B.Sc / M.Sc in Marketing or a related field
  2. Proven working experience in digital marketing and advertising company, NGO or Church
  3. Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  4. Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  5. Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  6. Experience with A/B and multivariate experiment
  7. Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends
  8. Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas)
  9. Experience in setting up and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns
  10. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  11. Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  12. Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
