Job Position: Digital Marketing and New Media Officer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance digital marketing efforts.
  • Manage and optimize social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.
  • Create engaging and shareable content to increase brand visibility and audience engagement. Develop creative and compelling content for digital platforms, including social media posts, blog articles, infographics, and videos.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, videographers, and content creators to produce high-quality visuals and multimedia content.
  • Implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and visibility.
  • Execute and optimize search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns to drive targeted tra伍c and conversions.
  • Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, including content creation, segmentation, and analysis.
  • Monitor and optimize email performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with web developers to ensure the organization’s website is optimized for user experience and search engines.
  • Regularly update website content and monitor site analytics.
  • Plan, implement, and optimize digital advertising campaigns across various platforms, such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Monitor and analyze ad performance metrics.
  • Utilize analytics tools to track and report on the performance of digital marketing efforts.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders, detailing key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Foster online community engagement through social media interactions, online forums, and other digital channels.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and audience preferences in the digital landscape.
  • Stay informed about competitors’ digital marketing strategies.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in digital marketing, including social media management, SEO, SEM, and content creation.
  3. Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and social media analytics.
  4. Strong creative and analytical skills.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Familiarity with emerging trends in new media and digital marketing.
