Job Description

  • We are seeking a seasoned Digital Marketing Manager to join our team and lead digital marketing efforts.
  • The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for analysing, developing, implementing, and managing marketing campaigns for FINTECH-related and other projects.
  • This role requires a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and the ability to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution.
  • The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in digital marketing research, data analysis, social media marketing, website optimization, etc with a proven track record of driving results.

Job Responsibilities

  • Fintech Expertise: Research, source and negotiate with merchants/ partners for profitable financial and money transfer deals on technical platforms.
  • Product/ Service Expansion Research: Research and analyse profitable fintech services, present approaches and deliver strategies to implement them.

Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive digital marketing strategies across various channels, including SEO/SEM, email, social media, display advertising, and more.
  • Lead and oversee the execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize campaign performance, utilizing A/B testing, analytics, and other tools to drive conversions and ROI.

Market Research & Trend Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify new opportunities, understand competitor activities, and stay updated on the latest industry trends.
  • Analyze consumer behaviour and digital engagement to identify patterns and insights that inform marketing strategies.

Social Media & Content Marketing:

  • Develop and manage a robust social media strategy that enhances brand visibility and engages the target audience.
  • Create and oversee the production of high-quality, engaging content for digital channels, ensuring consistency in brand voice and messaging.
  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement.

Website Optimization & Management:

  • Manage and optimize the company’s website to improve user experience, increase traffic, and enhance conversion rates.
  • Implement SEO best practices to ensure the website ranks highly on search engine results pages (SERPs).
  • Utilize web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track and report on website performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze digital marketing data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives, making informed decisions to optimize results.
  • Prepare detailed reports on campaign performance, customer behavior, and market trends, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.

Online Marketing & Opportunity Identification:

  • Identify and develop new online marketing opportunities that align with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative digital marketing solutions.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Lead and mentor a team of digital marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including product development, sales, and customer service, to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with overall business objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field. Relevant certifications will be an advantage e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.) is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of success in similar roles.
  • Extensive experience in digital market research, data collection, and analysis, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Strong expertise in social media marketing, website optimization, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and content creation.
  • Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media management tools, and CRM systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Benefits

  • Salary: N300,000 – 400,000 Monthly.

  • Possibility of contract extension based on performance/ availability
