Job Position: Digital Marketing Specialist and Social Media Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Digital Strategy Development: Create and implement digital marketing strategies aligned with the overall marketing and business goals.
  2. SEO (Search Engine Optimization): Optimize website content and structure to improve organic search rankings and visibility.
  3. Paid Advertising: Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and others.
  4. Content Marketing: Develop and curate high-quality content for blogs, websites, and social media platforms to engage the target audience.
  5. Email Marketing: Create and execute email marketing campaigns, including designing email templates, segmenting email lists, and analyzing campaign performance.
  6. Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze the performance of digital marketing efforts using tools like Google Analytics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  7. Social Media Marketing: Use social media platforms to promote products/services, engage with the audience, and manage paid social media advertising campaigns
  8. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Identify areas for improving website conversion rates and implement strategies to enhance user experience and increase conversions.
  9. Digital Advertising Budget Management: Allocate and manage budgets effectively for various digital marketing channels and campaigns.
  10. Competitor Analysis: Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to stay competitive and adapt strategies accordingly.
  11. Social Media Strategy: Develop a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the overall marketing and business goals.
  12. Content Creation: Create engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and other multimedia.
  13. Content Calendar: Plan and maintain a content calendar to ensure a consistent posting schedule and maximize audience engagement.
  14. Community Management: Monitor and engage with the audience, respond to comments and messages, and address customer inquiries or concerns on social media platforms.
  15. Social Media Advertising: Manage paid social media advertising campaigns to reach target audiences and achieve specific marketing objectives.
  16. Analytics and Insights: Analyze social media performance metrics, such as engagement rates, reach, and conversions, to refine strategies and track ROI.
  17. Influencer Collaboration: Identify and collaborate with relevant influencers to promote products/services or increase brand awareness.
  18. Crisis Management: Handle and mitigate any potential social media crises or negative publicity effectively.
  19. Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms to adapt strategies accordingly.
  20. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on social media performance and present findings to management, along with recommendations for improvement.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  2. Proven experience in digital marketing and social media management.
  3. Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and strategies.
  4. Proficiency in using social media platforms and social media management tools.
  5. Excellent writing and editing skills with an ability to create engaging content.
  6. Analytical mindset with experience using analytics tools to drive decision-making.
  7. Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns.
  8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  9. Familiarity with marketing automation tools and other digital marketing software.
