Job Description
- We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Marketer with strong graphic design and video editing skills to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our social media presence, creating visually engaging content, and driving online engagement across all platforms.
- This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and technical expertise.
Job Responsibilities
Social Media Management:
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, curate, and schedule content across all social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Monitor social media accounts for engagement opportunities, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyse and report on social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Content Creation:
- Design eye-catching graphics and visual content that aligns with the brand’s identity and marketing goals.
- Create and edit videos for social media campaigns, ensuring they are optimized for each platform.
- Develop compelling copy that complements visual content and drives user engagement.
Campaign Management:
- Plan and execute social media campaigns, including promotions, contests, and product launches.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure social media campaigns are integrated with broader marketing strategies.
Trend Analysis and Adaptation:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
- Adapt strategies and content based on emerging trends and platform changes.
Brand Consistency:
- Ensure all social media content reflects the company’s brand voice, values, and guidelines.
- Work closely with the design and marketing teams to maintain a consistent brand image across all channels.
Collaborations and Partnerships:
- Identify and engage with influencers, brand ambassadors, and potential collaborators to expand the brand’s reach.
- Manage relationships with external partners and agencies as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Social Media Marketer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design and video editing skills. A candidate with 4 to 5 years experience would be ideal for this role
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics is a plus.
- Creativity: Strong creative vision with an eye for aesthetics and detail.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Salary
N300,000 – N350,000 monthly.
