Job Description

  • We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Marketer with strong graphic design and video editing skills to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our social media presence, creating visually engaging content, and driving online engagement across all platforms.
  • This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and technical expertise.

Job Responsibilities
Social Media Management:

  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create, curate, and schedule content across all social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Monitor social media accounts for engagement opportunities, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Analyse and report on social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Content Creation:

  • Design eye-catching graphics and visual content that aligns with the brand’s identity and marketing goals.
  • Create and edit videos for social media campaigns, ensuring they are optimized for each platform.
  • Develop compelling copy that complements visual content and drives user engagement.

Campaign Management:

  • Plan and execute social media campaigns, including promotions, contests, and product launches.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure social media campaigns are integrated with broader marketing strategies.

Trend Analysis and Adaptation:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Adapt strategies and content based on emerging trends and platform changes.

Brand Consistency:

  • Ensure all social media content reflects the company’s brand voice, values, and guidelines.
  • Work closely with the design and marketing teams to maintain a consistent brand image across all channels.

Collaborations and Partnerships:

  • Identify and engage with influencers, brand ambassadors, and potential collaborators to expand the brand’s reach.
  • Manage relationships with external partners and agencies as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Marketer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design and video editing skills. A candidate with 4 to 5 years experience would be ideal for this role

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics is a plus.
  • Creativity: Strong creative vision with an eye for aesthetics and detail.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Salary
N300,000 – N350,000 monthly.
