Job Position: Direct Sales Agent
Location: Rivers

Position Overview

  1. We are seeking a Direct Sales Agent or Representative, who will be responsible for finding out prospective customers and closing sales.
  2. Also responsible for writing sales reports and creating sales proposals. Moreover, have detailed information on the products and services offered by the company.
  3. To perform this job role, you should have excellent sales skills and the ability to work under zero supervision. You should also possess outstanding organisational skills and good networking skills.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Presenting the products and services to the customers.
  2. Identifying the potential customers via cold calling.
  3. Working in collaboration with the team members.
  4. Meeting the monthly sales goals and expectations.
  5. Understanding the current market potential.
  6. Resolving customers’ complaints and issues, if any, before making the sale.
  7. Building a positive relationship with the customers.
  8. Making sure to provide excellent customer service and customer satisfaction.
  9. Manage the debt collection processes and work with analysts to develop, recommend, and enact payment plans to eliminate client debt in an agreed-upon timeframe aligned with collections policy.
  10. Debt Settlements: Accurately maintain client records and manage all past due accounts and determine the appropriate collection action to be taken for each client.
  11. Collect delinquent accounts by contacting customers via telephone, email, and visiting the place of business.
  12. Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports on the status of delinquent accounts, collection activity, and accounts receivable status.
  13. Report progress of collections to the Supervisor, make recommendations for next steps and write-offs.
  14. Customer Acquisition: Present, promote and sell products using solid negotiations to existing and prospective clients across relevant sectors, including but not limited to companies in the e-commerce, consumer goods, healthcare, and financial services industries.
  15. Loan Portfolio Growth: Support the evaluation of loans given to customers by ensuring that credit appraisals are completed properly and uphold monitoring of accounts to identify outstanding debts.
  16. Review the terms of the contract and service with the client, and communicate various payment options.
  17. Work cooperatively with other departments to best determine how to balance both the customer’s and needs.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in any discipline from an accredited polytechnic or University with NYSC discharge certificate or NYSC Exclusion Letter.
  2. Good relationship and communication skills with strong team spirit
  3. Strong analytical skills
  4. Good computer skills
  5. Real motivation to work and grow in a performance-based environment
  6. Taste for fieldwork

Additional Knowledge / Skills Required:

  1. Practical knowledge of micro / small/medium businesses
  2. Good writing skills.
