Job Position: Editorial Intern

Job Responsibilities
Content Management:

  1. Develop and execute content strategies that align with our brand vision.
  2. Coordinate and oversee the creation of articles, blog posts, and multimedia content.
  3. Edit content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to editorial standards.
  4. Manage publication calendars for timely content delivery.
  5. Optimise all content for SEO to drive organic traffic.
  6. Work collaboratively with writers, editors, and design teams.

Community Engagement:

  1. Actively engage with our online community across platforms.
  2. Produce relevant and engaging posts, articles, and discussions to spark participation.
  3. Coordinate online events, webinars, and Q&A sessions.
  4. Manage and grow communities on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  5. Monitor feedback, address concerns, and contribute to a supportive digital environment.
  6. Use analytics to measure engagement and community-building efforts.

Social Media Management:

  1. Manage day-to-day posting and content curation across all social platforms.
  2. Share relevant articles and updates that reflect our tone and focus.
  3. Strategise and implement ways to grow followers and increase engagement.
  4. Monitor and report on performance metrics to guide improvements.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree (or final year student) in Communications, Media, or related fields.
  2. 2 – 4 years of demonstrated experience in content creation or social media management.
  3. Strong writing and editorial skills.
  4. Proficiency in SEO practices and content marketing.
  5. Familiarity with tools like Canva, Google Analytics, and scheduling platforms (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite).
  6. Self-motivated, organised, and capable of working both independently and in a team.
  7. Creative thinker with a strong interest in business, innovation, and digital storytelling.
