Job Position: Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description
Operations:

  1. Understanding and implementing designs from technical drawings
  2. Interacting with contractors and customers using verbal and written communication
  3. Making presentations to clients and coworkers
  4. Attending company meetings
  5. Creating product documentation and records
  6. Preparing cost estimates for customers and other employees
  7. Inspecting electrical components during and after the product installation

Job Requirements

  1. A Degree in Electrical Engineering; MSc is a plus
  2. Proven expertise as an electrical and instrumentation/telecom engineer
  3. Hands-on experience using design, calculation, drafting and modelling software
  4. Deep knowledge of electrical and instrumentation construction and installation processes and work package development
  5. Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
  6. Problem-solving abilities
  7. Attention to detail
  8. Strong organizational and communication skills.

Candidate criteria:
Minimum level of experience required:

  1. 3 years or more

Required authorisations

  1. Electrical habilitation
  2. Engineering registration (added advantage).

Languages:

  1. English (D-Full professional proficiency).
