Job Position: Electrical Technician
Location: Ijebu Imushin, Ogun
Job Summary
- As an Electrical Technician, you perform a range of electrical tasks, including wiring, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.
- The role involves ensuring the safe and reliable operation of electrical systems and adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct fault finding in all Electrical panels using a multimeter to rectify any electrical issues.
- Testing of electrical motors with a Megger during the fault finding process or after rewinding company
- Ensuring all Electrical Panels, DB boards are maintained as per the international standard
- Ensure all Lights in each area of the factory are working properly and are also properly covered
- Ensure all electrical cables in the factory are neatly strapped in a cable tray.
- Ability to perform fault finding on WAGO panels
- Use tools in the workshop to rebuild and repair any electrical equipment and maintain environmental practices.
- The report breakdown to the Technical Manager indicates that additional resources are required
- Support the Mechanical Technicians Team when and where needed
- Carry out Electrical preventive Maintenance and breakdown repairs on:
- Beans Dumping conveyors, elevator and conveyor to the factory.
- Beans Silos Intake machinery, Bucket elevators, Cleaning machine, De-stoner, conveyors, Ventilex, Winnowers, Beans breakers, screw conveyors and Fans
- Continues line Machinery, Twin screw, Residence belt, Kahl Dreyer, screw conveyors, pumps electric
- Electrical motors, LCS pump electrical motors
- Compressor electrical motors, Chillers, sensors, fans and pump motors.
- Diesel and Shell boilers, Inlet fans, pumps, Blowers, screw conveyors, hydraulic unit and control panel.
Job Requirements
- Qualification: B.Sc, Eng, OND/HND in Electrical/Electronics
- Experience: 3years and above
- Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in using electrical tools and equipment.
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity are required to perform tasks.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in performing electrical work.
