Job Position: Electrician (Corrective)

Location: Apapa, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, equipment and components in various settings.
  2. The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, with adherence to safety protocol towards ensuring efficient and reliable electrical operations.

Job Description

  1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, control panels, and electrical equipment.
  2. Perform regular inspections to ensure systems comply with codes and safety standards.
  3. Diagnose electrical malfunctions and implement repairs.
  4. Test electrical systems and components to ensure functionality using diagnostic tools like multi-meters and megger tester.
  5. Ensure that all corrective repairs are diligently and professionally carried out to forestall a repeated cycle of breakdowns
  6. Follow all safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  7. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.

Job Qualifications

  1. 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.
  2. Technical certification would be an added advantage.

Experience:

  1. Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.

Job Requirements

  1. Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  2. Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  3. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and hand/power tools.
  4. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
