Job Position: Entry-Level Front End Developer

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

  • We are seeking a talented and motivated Entry-Level Front End Developer to join our dynamic team in Abuja. As a Front End Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user-friendly and visually appealing web applications that meet our clients’ needs.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain responsive, cross-browser compatible web applications using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  2. Optimize web pages for maximum speed and performance.
  3. Implement and maintain reusable UI components and libraries.
  4. Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
  6. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality.
  7. Assist in the deployment and maintenance of web applications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in front-end web development.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Experience with build tools like Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt.
  2. Knowledge of server-side technologies (e.g., Node.js, PHP, or Python).
  3. Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  4. Experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Jest, Enzyme, Cypress).
  5. Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
  6. Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  7. Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries, such as ReactJS, NextJs etc.
  8. Familiarity with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  9. Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices.
  10. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  11. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  12. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  13. Experience with build tools like Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt.
  14. Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  15. Experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Jest, Enzyme, Cypress).
  16. Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.

Salary
N80,000 – N150,000 / month.
