Job Description
- The Event Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events that align with the company’s objectives. This role requires a proactive individual with exceptional organizational skills, a creative mindset, and a passion for delivering outstanding event experiences.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive event plans, including budgets, timelines, and logistics, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand event objectives and design impactful event strategies.
- Research and propose innovative event concepts, themes, and formats to enhance the attendee experience.
- Oversee end-to-end event execution, including venue selection, vendor management, catering, audiovisual requirements, and on-site coordination.
- Ensure seamless operations during events, managing event staff and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Monitor and control event budgets to optimize expenses and achieve financial objectives.
- Work closely with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns to increase event attendance and engagement.
- Implement marketing strategies to maximize event visibility across various channels, including social media, email, and traditional marketing avenues.
- Conduct post-event evaluations, analyze success metrics, and generate reports to assess event effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize feedback and insights to refine future event strategies and enhance overall event quality.
- And any other tasks that may be required of you by the CEO.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Proven experience in event management, preferably within the industry/sector.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as required.
Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 monthly.
