Job Position: Event / Activation Manager

Job Description

  2. As an Event/Activation Manager at Maxima Media Group, you will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing, planning, and executing a wide range of events and activations that align with our brand’s mission and engage our target audience.
  3. The successful candidate will combine their exceptional event management skills with a strong command of Power Pointto create visually captivating presentations that enhance our brand’s storytelling.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and plan events and activations that align with our brand’s goals and messaging.
  2. Develop comprehensive event plans, including budgets, timelines, and logistical details.
  3. Create visually compelling PowerPoint presentations to communicate event concepts, strategies, and post-event analysis.
  4. Identify and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure seamless event execution.
  5. Lead and coordinate event teams, ensuring all aspects of the event are executed flawlessly.
  6. Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of events while addressing any issues that arise.
  7. Analyze event performance metrics and gather attendee feedback to improve future events.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovative event practices to bring fresh ideas to our events and activations.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience (at least 5years) in event planning and activation, preferably within the media or entertainment industry.
  3. Exceptional proficiency in using Microsoft PowerPoint to create visually impactful presentations.
  4. Strong project management skills, including budgeting, timeline management, and logistics coordination.
  5. Creative thinker with the ability to conceptualize engaging event concepts and activations.
  6. Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
  7. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage unexpected challenges during events.
  9. Adept at analyzing data and feedback to continuously improve event strategies and outcomes.
