Job Description
- Reviews, prioritizes, directs, and delegates a wide variety of complex and confidential requests that are presented to the executive for consideration.
- Responds to or routes priority or confidential inquiries from external or internal sources with correspondence or other messaging on behalf of the executive.
- Creates or directs creation of reports, charts, and other presentation materials for the executive. Coordinates high level projects, travel arrangements, and meetings.
- Provides administrative support in a variety of functions to the Chief Executive Officer that are focused on increasing the efficiency of the executive.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide sophisticated calendar management for CEO.
- Prioritize inquiries and requests, make judgements and recommendations to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements.
- Act as a liaison and provide support to the TGI Agribusiness Leadership Team. Arrange and handle all logistics for Leadership Team meetings and events: schedule meetings; draft agendas; develop, compile, and distribute presentation materials; and record meeting minutes.
- Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks that facilitate the CEO’s ability to effectively lead the organization, including assisting with special projects; designing and producing complex documents, reports, and presentations; collecting and preparing information for meetings with staff and outside parties; composing and preparing correspondence; maintaining contact lists; making travel arrangements; and completing expense reports.
- Work closely with the CEO to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately. Act as a “barometer,” having a sense for the issues taking place in the environment and keeping the CEO updated. Anticipate CEO’s needs in advance of meetings, conferences, etc.
- Act as a bridge for smooth communication between the CEO and staff, demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust, and support with the Executive Team. Complete projects by assigning work to appropriate staff, including the Executive Team, on behalf of the CEO.
- Provide event management support as requested.
- Provide hospitality to all guests and help to create a welcoming environment.
- Invest in building long-lasting relationships both externally and internally.
- Manage petty cash reimbursements and reconciliation.
- Other projects/duties as assigned for the overall benefit of the organization.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc in Business Administration or Legal related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in Business Administration and Development, or related fields.
- Executive support experience, including supporting C-level executives.
- Strong ability to execute work with a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens.
- Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software; ability to design and edit graphic presentations and materials.
- High degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people, including senior executives, staff, customers, and business partners.
- Make appropriate, informed decisions regarding priorities and available time.
- Ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little or no guidance.
- Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency and confidentiality to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.
Remuneration
N300,000 – N450,000 Monthly.
