Job Position: Executive Assistant to the CEO
Location: Yaba, Lagos
Job Description
- This role requires a proactive, strategic, and highly organised individual who can seamlessly manage diverse priorities while maintaining efficiency and precision.
- The ideal candidate has prior experience in a similar role supporting a high-growth business or dynamic executive, with a proven ability to streamline operations, execute with attention to detail, and adapt to evolving needs.
- To be successful in this role, you will need to operate with foresight, anticipating needs before they arise, and confidently contribute to the execution of high-level strategies.
- Your role will involve close collaboration with me to manage and drive cross-functional initiatives, from production and branding to marketing and operations.
- A willingness to travel, attend events, and immerse yourself in the brand’s mission is essential.
- You will play an integral role in supporting the growth of Texture Science Labs and brands as we scale to new heights.
You will be supporting the CEO across:
- Administrative tasks as CEO, head of strategy and brand at TSL and Brands
- Scheduling and reminders on tasks for cross-functional projects, including my professional and personal life
- Administrative and Creative tasks for my brand, creative consulting
Job Responsibilities
- Project / Task Management: Manage tasks across different projects. This includes following up on pending tasks and deliverables with team members on my behalf or managing communications and deadlines.
- Market Research and Analysis: Researching and curation of data across relevant touchpoints for Business Development and Growth. Effectiveness in researching and finding anything online and in real life.
- Calendar / Time Management: Managing my calendar; remaining aware of my current priorities and long-term goals so as to schedule my meetings most effectively and productively; conserving my time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence.
- Driving Goals: Collecting and driving a list of key decisions I need to make each day, such as things to sign, documents to review, important emails, invitations, deadlines, reminders, etc.
- Content preparation & Set Assistance: Provide assistance for my personal brand social media content in research, follow up and implementation. Assist with content days, photoshoots and set needs.
- Assist with Ebooks, Guides and creative writing: Ideal candidate would help me execute my ideas in E-books through their writing, presentation skills and design tools. Ideas are mine, but I need help executing and publishing them faster
- Shopping and Travel Management: Assist with online shopping and procurement locally and internationally, including Travel/hotel bookings and reservations.
- Handling Administrative & Ad-hoc Responsibilities: Proactively taking on tasks that ensure that my life runs smoothly.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Law, Communications, or a related field. However, proven experience in a similar role can outweigh formal education.
- At least 2 – 3 years as an Executive Assistant, ideally in a fast-growing company or startup environment.
- Familiarity with e-commerce, light manufacturing, or beauty industries is a bonus.
- Experience working with senior-level executives and managing high-pressure environments.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience with Canva and relevant presentation tools
- Project management and demonstrated understanding of Business Analysis
- A high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
- You’re a problem solver, you think strategically about what needs to be done, and you do it.
- You read and listen thoroughly before responding.
- Ability to grow with the organisation and take on increased responsibility as earned.
- A proactive, calm demeanour, with a strong work ethic.
- You can be flexible in working with others to accomplish their goals
- Nice to have: experience as a personal or executive assistant
- Nice to have: Experience taking good pictures with a phone
- Nice to have: Experience working as a social media manager or content creator
- Ability to do this job with great focus for at least one year.
