Job Position: Facility Manager

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

  1. Plan and coordinate all installations (Water supply, electricity, etc.) and refurbishments
  2. Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
  3. Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
  4. Review utility consumption and strive to minimize costs
  5. Supervise all staff facilities staff (custodians, technicians, security, Gardner.) and external contractors
  6. Control activities like waste disposal, building security etc.
  7. Keep financial and non-financial records
  8. Perform analysis and forecasting.

Job Requirements

  1. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification with 1 – 7 years work experience.
  2. Proven experience as a facilities manager or relevant position
  3. Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  5. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
