About the Role

We are looking for a Full-Time on-site Farm Manager with experience in DOC chick brooding and Egg Production.

As challenging as the job demands, we want a motivated and goal-driven person.

Job Responsibilities

  1. The Farm Manager supervises the day-to-day activities on the farm
  2. Ensuring that the best brooding method that guarantees optimal results is employed
  3. Setting of weekly activities, budgetary and production targets
  4. Responsible for hiring staff and carrying out disciplinary actions against staff.
  5. Keeping records of livestock and financial records.
  6. Carrying out routine health checks and ensuring a proper vaccination scheme is in place for the livestock.
  7. Ensure the farm is profitable and meets the projected financial target.

Requirements

  1. Degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or any other related field
  2. Extensive 2-5 years of experience in chick brooding, Egg production, and other poultry-related fields
  3. Problem-solving oriented, logical and Sophisticated reasoning
  4. Must know the most effective method to prevent and control livestock disease and pests
  5. Ability to budget and maintain accurate financial records, and also able to work and produce results within a stipulated time
  6. Must be computer literate and must know how to use Excel for financial records.

Salary
N80,000 – N100,000 / Month.
