Job Position: Finance/ Admin Officer

Job Location: Lekki Phase I, Lagos

Job Description

  1. Ensure the financial transactions are authorized, recorded, filed with adequate supporting documentation, and maintained, Interface with the client and invoicing of projects.
  2. He will also be responsible for the entire range of Administrative management, from daily operations.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Work with the Finance Manager to improve existing accounting systems
  2. Signing of project documents and uploading for invoicing on the client’s portal
  3. Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports.
  4. Assist with project financial-related work as required
  5. General administrative support, receive and sort mail and deliveries, schedule appointments.
  6. Give support to the field project team
  7. Assist with project related administrative work as required
  8. Prepare monthly, Quarterly reports on Project Managers Expense sheet.
  9. Track expenses and process expense reports
  10. Reconcile accounts payable transactions
  11. Prepare analysis of accounts
  12. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  13. Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  14. Reconcile payment with disbursement for field engineers across all projects
  15. Provide supporting documentation for audits
  16. Reconciling bank balances with the ledgers.
  17. Compliance to procedures
  18. Any other task as assigned by your line manager.

Job Requirements

  • B.Sc Degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance 
  • 3 – 5 years’ Experience
  • Experience in the Telecommunication industry is an added advantage
  • Age Range: Between 25-35 years of Age

Minimum Additional Training:

  1. Computer System
  2. Accounting software
  3. Advanced Excel skill
  4. Certification in ATS, ICAN, or ACCA will be an added advantage
