Job Description

  1. Responsible for generating and processing transactions.
  2. Bank statement reconciliation
  3. Handles general accounts queries.
  4. General ledger reconciliations
  5. Premium receipting and management of trade receivables.
  6. Arranges payment of bills and accounts.
  7. Keeps records of financial transactions.

Key Result Areas
Payment Processing:

  • Arranges payment of bills and accounts.
  • Checks the amounts to be paid and received by the business.
  • Compares costs with budgets.

Account Processing:

  1. Handles general accounts queries.
  2. Responsible for transaction processing.
  3. Checks account order forms and receipts are filled in correctly.

Personal Effectiveness:

  1. Accountable for service delivery through own efforts.
  2. Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality over periods of 1 day to a maximum of three months.
  3. Makes increased contributions by broadening individual skills.
  4. Collaborates effectively with others to achieve personal results.
  5. Accepts and lives the company values.

Record Keeping:

  • Keeps records of financial transactions.

Job Requirements

  • A First Degree in a related field or its equivalent.
  • 1 -2 Years’ experience in a finance role.
