Job Position: Finance Assistant

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Keep accurate records of all daily transactions
  2. Prepare balance sheets
  3. Process invoices
  4. Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
  5. Update internal systems with financial data
  6. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
  7. Reconcile bank statements
  8. Participate in financial audits
  9. Track bank deposits and payments
  10. Assist with budget preparation
  11. Review and implement financial policies

Job Requirements

  1. Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree (minimum of second class upper) in Accounting
  2. Proven 6 months – 2 years of work experience as an Accountant, Accounting Assistant, Finance Intern or a similar role
  3. Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
  4. Experience using financial software
  5. Knowledge of financial regulations
  6. Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  7. Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
  8. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  9. A keen eye for detail for accuracy with an ability to spot numerical errors
  10. Ability to work in a team environment
  11. Must be Willing to learn.
