Job Position: Finance Associate

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. The Finance Associate plays a crucial role in our organization’s financial operations.
  2. You will assist in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis to support the company’s objectives.
  3. You will collaborate with other teams, gather and analyze financial data, prepare reports, and provide recommendations to management. You also enjoy problem-solving and taking responsibility.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Track and monitor account receivables and payables.
  2. Assist with the preparation of operating budgets, financial statements, and reports.
  3. Perform reconciliations (bank and others).
  4. Assist the team in preparing balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements.
  5. Preparation of partners’ payment for disbursement
  6. Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports.
  7. Record and file cash transactions.
  8. Process expense requests for approval.
  9. Process payroll for approval.
  10. Post all transactions on QuickBooks

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or any related field.
  2. Minimum of 2 year cognate experience
  3. Office and G-Drive knowledge to work with Google Docs, Spreadsheets, etc. Excel advanced skills are a must.
  4. Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines
  5. Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting practices and financial software tools.
  6. Good with figures and numbers and have an analytical mind.
  7. Strong communication skills with a problem-solving attitude.

Salary

  • N200,000 – N250,000 per month.
