Job Position: Finance Executive
Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, monitor, and review company budgets in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Ensure accurate forecasting and financial planning to support operational and strategic goals.
- Provide timely and detailed financial analysis and variance reports to senior management.
- Manage the creation, approval, and tracking of purchase orders across both companies.
- Oversee purchase-to-pay processes and ensure they align with budget expectations and company policies.
- Monitor supplier invoices and payments to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial procedures.
- Handle financial activities related to loans, including negotiations, repayments, and interest calculations.
- Ensure efficient management of company debt and capital structure.
- Provide strategic financial advice on financing options and cash flow management.
- Prepare and review of financial statements in line with accounting standards.
- Work closely with external auditors during audits, providing necessary documentation and clarification.
- Ensure the company complies with regulatory and tax obligations.
- Prepare periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) for internal stakeholders.
- Ensure all financial records and transactions are accurate and compliant with local regulations.
- Track key financial metrics and suggest improvements for cost efficiency and profitability.
- Maintain and improve financial controls to safeguard the company’s financial integrity.
- Handle general ledger functions and month-end/year-end closing procedures.
- Support in the implementation and review of financial systems and software.
Job Requirements
- Certification: Must be a certified Chartered Accountant (ICAN) or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or auditing, with a strong background in budgeting, purchase orders, financial reporting, and loan management.
- Key Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and auditing standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

Salary
N300,000 – N400,000 / Month.
