Job Description

  1. As a Finance Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and planning.
  2. This internship provides a unique opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a real-world setting, contribute to critical financial processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities
Financial Analysis:

  1. Assist in preparing financial statements and reports to support decision-making processes.
  2. Conduct variance analysis and identify key financial drivers.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  1. Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes for supply chain and logistics projects.
  2. Collaborate with project managers to align financial plans with operational objectives.

Cost Analysis:

  1. Analyze costs associated with transportation, warehousing, and other logistics functions.
  2. Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.

Vendor Management:

  1. Support the finance team in managing vendor relationships and evaluating financial performance.
  2. Assist in negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers.

Data Analysis:

  1. Analyze financial data using Excel and other tools to derive meaningful insights.
  2. Present findings in a clear and concise manner.

Process Improvement:

  1. Identify opportunities for process improvement within the finance department.
  2. Work with team members to implement enhancements to financial workflows.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or any related course
  • 6 months -1 year previous experience in Acounting
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to the finance function within the supply chain and logistics industry.
