Job Description
- We have a need for a highly motivated and analytical finance intern to support our finance team.
- The intern will gain practical experience in various financial functions, including Accounts Payable and Receivable, Tax Compliance practices, Account Reporting, and Financial Analysis.
- They will work closely with experienced professionals to learn industry best practices and contribute to the overall financial operations of the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Process payment, receipts and invoices under supervision
- Timely compliance and remittance of statutory deductions VAT, WHT, PAYE
- Reconciliation of bank, intercompany activities and identifying discrepancies.
- Conduct research on market trends, competitors, or investment opportunities.
- Prepare finance presentations and reports.
- Organize and maintain financial documents for audits.
- Participate in special projects or initiatives as assigned.
- Posting of daily transactions
- Assist in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- NYSC: Currently Serving or about to serve
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word
- Understanding of financial principles, including general ledger, journal entries, and accruals.
- Experience with gathering data and writing concise reports.
