Job Position: Finance Manager

Job Location: Garki, Abuja

Job Responsibilities

  1. The senior Associate will play an active role for both equity and debt fundraiser while growing Accounts and managing a team that takes care of financial, legal and compliance operations for the group.
  2. Spearhead both equity and debt fundraiser for the company, including direct pitches to investors, selection/management of bankers/vendors, direct ownership of the process from start to finish.
  3. Manage shareholder and BOD financial and performance reporting support strategy, operation, and financial planning with financial modeling, data analysis and insights.
  4. Develop and manage budgets and long-range financial forecasts.
  5. Oversee all finance and operations for the group, including billing, A/R. A/P, GL, cost accounting and revenue recognition, audits, tax and ensure systems and controls reflect ‘best practice’ financial processes.
  6. Arranging working capital requirements and managing the cash flows.
  7. Experience with and focus on leveraging automation and software to standardize, speed up and improve the quality of core processes.
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies and other regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or in a related field.
  2. At least 8 years experience working as a finance associate.
  3. Strong background in Finance, Audit, Taxation.
  4. Candidate should have experience handling investor relations and should also understand business and financial modelling.
  5. Candidate MUST be chartered as at when applying for this position.
  6. MBA qualification would be an added advantage.
  7. Proficiency in integrated financial management software, such as Sage book.
  8. Extensive knowledge of accounting standards, fiscal procedures, and applicable tax codes.
  9. Exceptional attention to detail.
  10. Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  11. Great analytical and problem-solving abilities.
