Job Position: Finance Manager

Job Description

  1. Manage the finance team at assigned entities in day-to-day tasks. This includes daily supervision and coordination of the finance team’s tasks and providing guidance to the team members on any issues or concerns.
  2. Ensure proper and accurate bookkeeping. All accounting entries are correctly posted in the accounting software for assigned entities on a timely basis and closing on a monthly & annual basis with accuracy and adherence to IFRS/local accounting standards.
  3. Ensure on time monthly reporting of the assigned entities to the Head Office for Senior Management use (i.e., Monthly Reporting of MIS, Trial Balance, all accounting schedules, statutory schedules etc.)
  4. Ensure timely compliance/returns of VAT, WHT, Payee and NIHIL, GETFUND/ Covid levy etc. and addressing all tax matters/notices as & when applicable for the assigned entities.

Job Requirements

  • Post-graduate with specialization in Finance or a Chartered Accountant.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in accounting and reporting.
  • Thorough knowledge of IFRS/local accounting standards.
  • Should possess working knowledge of tax laws such as corporate tax, VAT, WHT etc.
  • Should have experience of handling a team of 2-3 members.
  • Should have handled multiple entity bookkeeping operating in different currencies.
