Job Position: Finance Manager
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee financial planning, reporting, and compliance for Medbury Healthcare Group.

The ideal candidate will ensure fiscal efficiency, lead budgeting and audit processes, and support management with financial insights to guide business decisions.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate financial planning, budgeting, and investment activities across business units.
  2. Prepare and monitor annual budgets, ensuring adherence to approved expenditure.
  3. Produce accurate monthly management accounts and financial performance reports.
  4. Implement cost-saving strategies to optimise operational efficiency.
  5. Ensure full compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.
  6. Supervise payroll administration and maintain up-to-date statutory remittances.
  7. Manage inter-company account reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and fixed asset register.
  8. Identify investment opportunities and support continuous improvement in financial systems.

  3. Regulatory and audit compliance

Requirements

  1. B.Sc. / HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (professional certification preferred).
  2. Minimum of 7 years’ progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  3. Strong understanding of financial regulations, taxation, and audit procedures.
  4. Proven leadership and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  5. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
