Job Position: Finance Reporting Manager

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for the preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts and other management reports for management’s decision making.
  2. Support the Head, Finance in preparation of the annual financial statement annual and periodic internal and external audits and attending to auditors’ queries promptly.
  3. Managing the Monthly GL reconciliation process; (i) Monthly timelines template table circularization.
  4. Provide monthly reports on NSIA’s performance to Executive Management.
  5. Ensure the Management Account is ready and reviewed by the 3rd Working day of every month.
  6. Supports managing the external audit process for financial statements issuance and tax audits, and desk reviews during interim and year-end audit exercises.
  7. Preparation of relevant supporting schedules for statutory audits as and when requested. • Monitor regularization of issues raised in external audit management letters and internal audit reports.
  8. Prepare statutory annual audit reports and processing of returns to various regulators such as NAICOM (NAICOM’s quarterly and annual reports) and respond to NAICOM

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field.
  2. A postgraduate degree or MBA in Finance Management or a related discipline is an advantage.
  3. Minimum of Six (6) years relevant experience with at least three (3) years mid managerial experience preferably in an insurance firm.
  4. A professional qualification of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) or the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Associate status is mandatory.
