Pecantrust Microfinance Bank Limited was incorporated in 2016 and licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria. The Bank is focused on supporting entrepreneurial development and empowerment of the economically disadvantaged micro, small and medium scale enterprises (MSME). It provides a wide range of financial products and services to a substantial and diversified client base that includes low-end entrepreneurs, the underbanked, cooperatives, high-net-worth individuals, among others.

Job Position: Finance Supervisor

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Plan, assess, monitor, and manage the efficient utilization of cash and financial resources in a manner consistent with the agreed procedures and objectives of the bank.
  2. Review and consolidate Bank Reconciliation and Fund Management analysis.
  3. Prepare and analyze Cash flow.
  4. Review and consolidate Multi-level GL and bank reconciliations.
  5. Ensure the maintenance of an adequate level of working capital.
  6. Review and consolidate weekly cash flow & liquidity report and provide advice to management on the variances.
  7. Carrying out reconciliation of Balance Sheet items such as cash, cash equivalents, investments, debt, for management and reporting purposes.
  8. Review other Treasury related monthly Schedules.
  9. Financial review of customer accounts, loan computation and other finance information.
  10. Processing and preparation of pension, payee and other regulatory and compliance monthly renditions.
  11. Analyze and present financial trends, competitor behavior as they impact on the bank.
  12. Regulatory compliance: Work with legal counsel and other parties to ensure compliance to mitigate legal risk on regulatory matters
  13. Develops and monitors performance metrics for the investor relations function
  14. Creates presentations, press releases, and other communication materials for earnings releases, industry events, and presentations to analysts, brokers, and investors.
  15. Laison and communication with the regulatory bodies such as the CBN, NDIC, FIRS, LIRS for 100% compliance at all times
  16. Assess and predict financial risks and returns.
  17. Ability to use financial modelling to predict outcomes.
  18. Analyze business operations, loan repayments, deposit maturities, business trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or & to provide advice.
  19. Financial statement: Review, analyze and prepare final statement for both internal and external purposes.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification with 3 – 5 years work experience.
