Job Position: Financial Analyst

Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Responsibilities

  1. Looking at current financial performance and identifying trends and develop models that help with decision making
  2. Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and to finance and business management recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
  3. Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting
  4. Spearhead the annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes
  5. Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization
  6. Consolidate and analyze current and past financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc) taking into account company’s goals and financial standing
  7. Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks
  8. Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis
  9. Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models
  10. Identify trends, advise company and recommend actions to a senior financial analyst based on sound analysis
  11. Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts
  12. Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
  13. Gain and update job knowledge to remain informed about novelty in the field
  14. Consult with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making within the broadest scope
  15. Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function

Job Requirements

  1. B.Sc. in Finance or related fields
  2. Experience: Minimum of 3 years + in similar roles
  3. ACCA, ICAN is an added advantage.
