Job Position: Senior Financial Analyst

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the financial resources of a company.
  2. Effective budget planning and support the executive management team by offering insights and financial advice that will allow them to make the best business decisions for the company.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Collecting, interpreting, reviewing financial information, and predicting future financial trends with the team.
  2. Develop financial models through benchmarking and process analysis
  3. Reporting to management and stakeholders and providing advice on how the company and future business decisions might be impacted.
  4. Develop and implement plans for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  5. Developing long-term business plans based on these reports.
  6. Developing strategies that work to minimize financial risk.
  7. Analyzing market trends and competitors.
  8. Create and implement financial policies to guarantee operational efficiency.
  9. Liquidity / Cash Flow management.
  10. Ensure financial records are kept up to date with the latest transactions and changes.
  11. Contribute to financial audits.
  12. Plan, organize, and execute financial tasks and projects of the organization.
  13. Make estimates of funds required for the short and long-term financial objectives of the organization.
  14. Complete financial reports, lead the month-end closing process and conduct monthly financial forecasts.
  15. Achieve a proper mix of equity and debt to minimize cost and maximize operational profit.
  16. Strategize on fund procurement through banks and other financial institutions.
  17. Provide financial insight and analysis to drive the business performance of the organization.
  18. Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and reports.
  19. Evaluate the financial performance of the organization and measure returns on investments.
  20. Understand and calculate the risks involved in the financial activities of the Organization.

Job Requirements

  1. Possess Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree preferably in Finance or Managerial discipline.
  2. Relevant training & certifications. – ACCA / ICAN is a must.
  3. Must have 3 – 5 core years of work experience in a FINTECH or Financial Services in a similar role.
  4. High level of IT skills especially in accounting, advanced Excel, and PowerPoint.
