Job Position: Financial Analyst

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

  1. The finance analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data to identify trends and insights that can help inform business decisions.
  2. S/He will work closely with other members of the finance team to provide accurate and timely financial information to management.
  3. The finance analyst reports to the finance manager and may supervise the work of junior analysts.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Analyze financial statements and other financial data to identify trends and patterns.
  2. Create financial models to forecast future performance and identify potential risks.
  3. Monitor financial metrics and KPIs to measure performance against goals.
  4. Provide recommendations to management based on analysis and insights.
  5. Prepare financial reports, including monthly and quarterly financial statements, budget reports, and cash flow statements.
  6. Collaborate with other members of the finance team to ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial data.
  7. Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
  8. Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2 – 4 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, such as Excel and financial software.
  • Knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
  • Chartered with ACA and/or ACCA. Dip IFR is an added advantage.

Salary

  • N3,300,000 – N4,500,000 Annually.
